1.Don’t be afraid to talk openly and honestly with your boyfriend about your frustrations regarding his behavior. Don't just complain to him about his actions; tell him if he really wants to be with you, he’ll shape up and start treating you with the respect you deserve.
If you really do have an independent life outside of the relationship then maybe you both need to compromise a little on when you meet during the week? It could be completely possible that your boy friend is available when you AREN’T available and since neither of you is compromising plans for the other you mutually continue to minimize the time for your relationship. Set a date night / movie night or just a schedule on when you will be expected to hang out together – I know it sounds very planned and not spontaneous / romantic, but maybe beating your respective friends to the punch will help open up your schedules more and fulfill your relationship.
2.Pick a day out of the week when it only involves the two of you and no one else. That day should have no distractions where you can spend time with your boyfriend all day long doing anything you both like. If this plan proves to be successful, gradually it will become more days like this.
3.Plan to have fun - When you are together, plan for some fun activities that you can both enjoy rather than leaving it to him or to the moment. Ensuring that your time together is fun will make him look forward to meeting you again.
